There's nothing like the bond between a mother and her daughter!

More than anything in the world, what melts my heart the most is when Zoey says, "Love you Mommy!". What a sweet little girl she can be! : )

Tilden Park: Little Farm & Steam Train!

Yesterday we had a super-fun playdate with Abby & Kate up at Tilden Park in the Berkeley hills. We first met at Little Farm to feed celery to the cows, goats, sheep, rams, pigs, ducks, chickens and even a turkey! We were also happily surprised to see some newly born baby chicks! Then we headed over to the Steam Train for a fun ride through the trees, with great views of the East Bay hills. I highly recommend it to anyone with young kids, or even "big kids" who love trains! We're so lucky to live in an area with so many great free and low-cost family activities - and Tilden Park is full of options! Next time we want to ride the Carousel and also visit the Botanical Gardens.

BUSY YEAR!

So far, 2012 has been a strange, busy, and exciting year! Not much time to write blogs, however, which makes me a little sad but the good news is that we're out LIVING and exploring our world!

More to come....including some recent Zoey developments, my 2012 resolutions, and more!

This movie is so adorable - if you haven't seen it I highly recommend it! Not only do I love it to pieces, but so does our little dancing Zoey - too cute! There's been lots of dancing in our house lately! : )

New Year's Weekend

David and I enjoyed a couple of days off together while my mom and sis watched Zoey last Thursday & Friday. Then Saturday we joined them all in Manteca on NYE to ring in the new year as a family. Unfortunately the weekend ended with 4 of us coming down with a NASTY stomach flu, but thankfully it passed quickly. Here's to the rest of 2012 being happy and healthy!
