Doesn't quite feel like it though....but the cherry blossoms make me dream of warmer, longer days that aren't too far off!

Trip to LA!

Last weekend I traveled down to Los Angeles to spend some time with my dear friends Cassie, Danielle & Jen. It was so wonderful catching up and exploring! I wish I took some pics with Dani & Jen, but did get a few shots my last day there with Cassie at Venice Beach. Such a lovely getaway!

Zoey - January 2013

I know I've been MIA lately - a combination of busyness at work prepping for the new semester, finishing up my Fulbright application, starting a new online course in Psychohpharmacology, a running injury and a pulled back muscle, plus just living LIFE as a full-time working mom; therefore blogging has not been at the top of my priority list as I think everyone could understand. But I do want to keep posting when I came...hopefully more often than I have this month so far. Here are a few shots of my growing girl....Zoey the Great! :)

CA Academy of Sciences - Fun in the City!

We had so much fun enjoying some of our post-holiday time off together at CA Academy in Golden Gate Park! It was a beautiful sunny day in the City (albeit a tad chilly), and we loved exploring the Academy to check out all the cool animals and exhibits. My favorite was the rainforest dome and seeing the live penguin feeding, and Zoey loved the projection show inside the giant Frosty. Other highlights were the albino crocodile and the real Reindeer! If you haven't been recently it's a definite must-see on your next visit to the city.

She's particularly fond of Yoda and Chewbacca...and the Ewoks of course! :)

And now she has Yoda slippers to complete the look! :)

Happy 5th Birthday Hayden!

What a fun-filled party at My Gym! I can't believe my niece Hayden is 5...wow time flies! We love you Hay! You are growing up to be such a beautiful, sweet girl. :)
