Which means David and I get a much needed break.....ahhh. I can't remember the last time I got to sleep in! ;) Love this kid SO MUCH though - look at her! So full of life, sass, curiosity and cuteness!

Getting ready for Christmas!

Although we can't have a real Christmas tree in our house due to the fact that our crazy cats would eat/destroy it, we still have our little fake tree (which I've grown to love actually!), and our fresh pine wreath on the front door that still gives us that festive Christmas smell. :) Zoey helped me decorate the wreath just like it was a real Christmas tree - we sorted through our boxes of nostalgic old ornaments and fancied it up quite nicely. The lights have been put up, the stockings hung, and we even made a paper chain to help us countdown to December 25th. It is so fun to continue some of my family's holiday traditions with Zoey, but also to create new ones of our own. Happy Holidays!

Belated Thanksgiving Pics!

I just realized I never posted any pics from our busy Thanksgiving weekend - so here are some belated highlights. We were out in Manteca at my parent's place on Thursday, back in the Bay Area for dinner with David's parents on Friday, then up in Elk Grove on Saturday for Thanksgiving #3 with my dad's side of the family (our annual tradition is to get together the Saturday after Thanksgiving day). Whew! Lots of family, food, driving, and fun. :)

Mommy & Zoey day at Habitot

Zoey's preschool was closed the day before Thanksgiving, so I took advantage of a rare weekday off with my girl to spend some time together playing and exploring at Habitot. We love that place! Although it was a bit packed and stuffy inside the museum that day, we still had a great time and got to hang out with our friends Meriah, Micah, Moxie and baby Mac! :)
