Cooking with Daddy!

Dinnertime in our household has been a chore lately, to put things mildly. But we're finding that if Zoey "helps" prepare or cook her own dinner she's much more excited about chowing down.....so let the mess-making commence! Last night was "nacho night" in our house, and Zoey loved sprinkling cheese and chowing on her chips. Whatever works is often our motto! :)

And I know Zoey's glad I'm home too!

Fun in Atlanta, GA!

This past week I was in Atlanta, Georgia for the National Career Development Association (NCDA) conference. I had a great time learning, networking, and developing professionally, and also checking out the local sites of downtown Atlanta. I was lucky to have a couple Bay Area career counselor friends there with me - thanks Neepa & Kristen for being such fun dinner partners! It was a great trip but I'm glad to be home in the cool SF Bay. :)

Visit with Jenny, Julia & Keira

Since I had the day off work on Monday, Zoey and I took advantage of our time together and drove out to Walnut Creek for a lovely visit with our friends Jenny, Julia & baby Keira. It was so great to catch up with my dear friend Jenny and see our girls play together so well! And baby Keira is such a HAPPY little lady! Zoey loved her so much and they both laughed and smiled together - so cute! :)

Fun @ Habitot

On Friday Leah, Hayden, Zoey and I all spent the morning playing and exploring at Habitot Children's Museum in Downtown Berkeley. Zoey had a wonderful time and particularly enjoyed pretending to be an astronaut, playing in the water table room, and painting her own face! We'll definitely be going back soon!
